Montessori at home: an introduction

Paulene Richardson presents a seminar for parents, grandparents and caregivers of children under 6

 A Montessori Approach: creating a home environment which encourages independence, concentration and creativity  sounds lovely - where to start?

As a parent perhaps you;

  • Are frustrated because your home is awash with little-used toys?

  •  Are confused that your child, who has so many toys, often finds it difficult to entertain themselves?

  • Are sometimes worried you should be doing more (or fewer) activities with your child?

  • Would you like your family life to be more ordered and harmonious but are not sure where to begin?

  • Want to learn more about the Montessori approach?

Montessori at home: an introduction

Preston Library Meeting Room

266 Gower St Preston 3072

7.30 - 9 pm

Wednesday 13th June 2018

At the end of this seminar you will better understand the developmental needs of your child and how you can best meet those needs using a Montessori approach.

How, for example, simple yet fundamental changes to the physical arrangement of your home can have a wonderfully positive impact.

You may already know a little about Montessori education (or nothing at all) and would like to know how to begin to implement this approach at home during your child's all important preschool years. If so, this is the place to start, learn what you can achieve at home by understanding the principles which underpin both the activities and the approach.

You may also be already trying to do this at home and feel in need of some support ad clarification, this seminar will really help.

There will be plenty of time for discussion and questions during the seminar.

Places are  limited due to venue size so register early to avoid disappointment.
